Carter had been working as a Radiologic Technologist for the past five years and in Interventional Radiology for the past 4 at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP). Safe radiation practices and low doses to the patient are of the utmost of importance to him, and being able to be a part of a group that strives to improve the Radiology department is a dream come true.
Having attended California State University, Long Beach as a Biology
major as given him the knowledge of how to collect, analyze and
interpret data collected in radiation exposure experiments at the
hospital. Along with this came experience with programs such as
Microsoft Excel, which are so vital to data analysis. Carter hopes to
aid in bringing an understanding of the benefits to the patient of a
digital environment as well as potential areas of concern that need to
be monitored.
